At Braidburn we have a nursing team that support learners to stay well and healthy in school. Our nursing team support learners and the school community in a number of ways:
Supporting learners who become unwell whilst at school
Supporting immunisation programmes across the school year
Administering medication where required
Maintaining and recording medical information
Supporting training for the wider staff team and providing support to class teams in supporting learners with complex medical needs
Providing advice and support with continence products
Liaising with other health professional teams around learners
