Dear Parents and Carers
I hope this finds you well, as we move into the middle of our second week of school closure.
Our staff team are working remotely; but are staying connected with one another in a planned and structured way – and we are working together as a team to support some aspects of the curriculum, where we can; and to keep in touch with all our Braidburn families.
Communication with our families is so important during this period of school closure; and we will continue to keep in touch with you all in a number of ways – through regular website updates, emails, phone calls and sharing of information on Twitter.
Please do continue to check our website for Base Class / Specialist Teacher messages and learning updates. Our teaching team are busy preparing weekly updates which are now being shared via our school website. We are also sharing updates from our NHS colleagues; and we are working to post regular updates on our Twitter account.
Our teaching team will be in touch with all families by phone this week to say ‘hello’ and have a catch up. This will become a weekly communication channel following the Easter holiday period.
Our IEP targets have now been completed; and we will be sharing these documents with families via email after the Easter break.
We would welcome families connecting with us through sharing home learning experiences. If you have any photos or examples of home learning in your household that you would like to share with us, please do get in touch. It would be lovely to share ideas and examples of successful home learning activities across our school community; and we can post these on our website, with your permission.
With warm wishes
